In my career I've won numerous creative awards, launched a nationally syndicated radio program, founded an international catalog company, and taught marketing and creativity to hundreds of executives and students. But I'm most excited about the work I do at Think Creative, the digital marketing agency I founded 12 years ago.

You were chosen as this month’s Innovator Client. What does being an Innovator mean to you?
“Never settling for ordinary. In my career we developed numerous ways to make our clients stand out by just trying harder and not settling for the first idea. For instance, this month we are launching a new “Social POP Video” program with OffiCenters allowing clients to get high-end video at a budget rate. We are also offering a new storyboard style video. It’s a cost-effective, innovative new approach to telling your story.

We have done amazing award-winning work for our clients, including Honeywell, Deluxe, Medica and Buhler. We are very good at what we do, and our 15 years in business reinforces that.
We learn from our mistakes, especially in business. Give us some words of wisdom.
Fail fast, but never stop innovating. To be successful you have to create real points of competitive advantage. That means trying things that may fail. Test them as fast as you can so you don’t waste additional money. If they don’t work, move on to something else, but keep innovating.

Be happy where you are at, but always thirst for more.

In the sun, on a beach, on a lake, surrounded by family and friends and lots of coconut rum.
What might someone be surprised to know about you?
I have a lot of diverse interests including writing children’s stories, creating art, travel and currently am the president of the Mound-Westonka Rotary.
