Marg Penn and I have been clients at Park OffiCenter for almost two years. Our business, Burke&Penn is targeted at people over 50 who are going through transitions in their careers and/or lives, and we help them define themselves by their futures, not by their pasts. I also have just finished a new book -- to be released this month -- called Power Your Career: The Art of Tactful Self-Promotion at Work with Richard Dodson who is a client at the Union Plaza location.
About a year ago, while waiting to get coffee at the International Plaza office, I met Deirdre VanNest of Accelerated Performance, a client at Park and the wife of a former client of mine. Last fall, in the coworking space at Park, Deirdre introduced me to Cathy Paper of RockPaperStar, VirtualOffiCenters client at Union Plaza, who helps authors and speakers market their wares. Richard and I have started working with Cathy and are making great progress on the book marketing.
In many ways, it has been a great experience being a client of OffiCenters, but I'd say that it really pays to hang out in the coworking space. Everyone is open to introducing themselves, and everyone really "gets"networking and building connections.
